Piner-Olivet Charter School Tutoring Resources
Children who struggle in school benefit from tutoring, which helps them gain confidence and skills if they’ve fallen behind. Even if your children are excelling in school, tutoring can still be of great benefit, boosting their confidence and preparing them for the next level.
Tutoring services may be available through the school, but parents are encouraged to take on an active role by home tutoring their children.
POCS currently offers an after school Homework Help Club on Wednesdays from 12:30pm - 2:40pm. Students have a lunchtime then Homework Help. An instructional assistant and parent volunteers are available to help students. A Study Hall Agreement is required for attendance.
